Dr.  Ninan's Bio

Dr. Ninan is a native Texan who was born and raised in Pasadena. He is a Clinical Neurophysiologist who is double board-certified in neurology and clinical neurophysiology. Dr. Ninan is a well-established, highly skilled neurologist with more than 14 years of experience in treating patients with neurological disorders.

 

Dr. Ninan is an expert in providing outpatient and inpatient neurology care to patients, as well as interpretation of various neurophysiological tests, such as EEGs, evoked potentials and EMG/NCS. His clinical interests encompass general neurology, clinical neurophysiology, and epilepsy.  

 

Dr. Ninan received his doctorate in medicine from St. George’s University School of Medicine in 2008 after receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Texas. Dr. Ninan completed his residency in Neurology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where he served as a Chief Resident.  He completed an ACGME accredited Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship in 2013.

  

Dedicated to neurological care, Dr. Ninan went on to practice at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the department of Neurology for 3 years. In 2016 he joined Methodist Sugar Land Neurology Associates and remained on staff until 2022.

 

Dr. Ninan joined Current Neurology Solutions (CNS) as the Outpatient Medical Director in 2023. He is committed to leading Current Neurology Solutions by collaborating with our talented staff and working with the best hospitals in our region and beyond. In his role as Medical Director, he directs the initiatives to improve the patient experience, reduce unnecessary visits to hospitals, and enable improved coordinated and continuous care by expanding CNS reach into outpatient neurology.

 

Dr. Ninan works diligently to be an advocate for his patients and believes that every patient relationship is a partnership developed by trust, mutual respect, communication, and above all, listening carefully to the concerns of the patient. He values the physician-patient relationship and is a supporter of empowering patients with the tools and knowledge for shared decision making of their health.

 

In his free time, Dr. Ninan enjoys traveling, playing sports, and spending time with his family.
