Pleshette Hawkins is a Registered Medical Assistant with 25 years of work experience in the medical field. Firmly committed to a career in neurology, early on she started working with Alpert & Sermas Neurological Associates in 1998 before accepting a position as lead Medical Assistant with UT Physicians neurology department in 2013. In 2016 Pleshette joined Houston Methodist as a Clinic Coordinator/Medical Assistant where she remained on staff until transitioning to her role as OA/MA (Office/Medical Assistant) at Current Neurology Solutions (CNS) in November of 2023. 

 

As a Registered Medical Assistant, Pleshette has worked hard to nurture her career in general neurology, assisting and managing patients diagnosed with migraines and other headache disorders, Multiple sclerosis, Epilepsy, peripheral nerve disorders, dementia, stroke, Parkinson disease and more.

 

She is a compassionate healthcare professional with a desire to help others. Providing essential support to ensure patients’ well-being, her extensive clinical knowledge, calm demeanor, and kindness, has made her a favorite among our patients.
