Tracy Underwood, a Cajun at heart, graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing in 2006.  Upon completion of her degree and after seeing the daily impacts of the 2005 Hurricane season in Louisiana, she spent 3 years working with The Road Home Program, a Hurricane Katrina and Rita recovery program impacting the largest rebuilding effort in American history.

In 2008, she moved to Texas and made a change in careers and began her first position in the administrative side of healthcare at UT Health Tyler. For the next 5 years, Tracy worked in just about every aspect of administrative Physician support including credentialing, physician recruitment, and residency and fellowship coordination before moving to Houston in 2014 to join the Neurology Department and Stroke team at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston McGovern Medical School.  After 4 years working with Stroke fellows and helping to develop the Institute for Stroke and Cerebrovascular Diseases, she decided to move her efforts closer to home and spent 6 years as the Executive Assistant at her children’s elementary school.  Tracy is excited to be back in the field of Neurology and joining the Current Neurology Solutions team to support them in the mission of delivering superior patient care to the residents of Texas and beyond.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, eating at restaurants of every cuisine, spending time with her husband, two daughters, dog and cat, and the occasional beach or lake weekend away with friends.
