She then completed a two-year vascular neurology fellowship at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).

After completion of her stroke fellowship, Dr. Chu became an Assistant Professor of Neurology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), in the Telemedicine division. In 2021, she joined Current Neurology Solutions in Pearland, Texas as an inpatient tele-neurology service provider and is affiliated with multiple hospitals within the Memorial Hermann Health System.

Dr. Chu is passionate about delivering evidence-based, empathetic care to stroke and neurology patients over telemedicine. With a background in gerontology, she is also interested in end-of-life topics and palliative care in stroke. Dr. Chu lives in the Houston area with her husband and daughter.
