Justin Murphy, MD is one of our outpatient neurologists working at Midland Health in Midland, Texas. He has subspecialty training in behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry. He brings a strong academic and research foundation to his clinical practice, with particular expertise in neurocognitive disorders, dementia, and the neuropsychiatric symptoms that accompany them.

Dr. Murphy earned his Bachelor's degree in Psychology, with a certificate in Neuroscience, from Princeton University, where he was also a member of the varsity lacrosse team. He received his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, where he served as President of the Student Interest Group in Neurology. He completed his Adult Neurology Residency at the University of Colorado in Aurora, where he was honored with the Resident Student Teaching Award, followed by a fellowship in Behavioral Neurology & Neuropsychiatry.

On a personal note, Dr. Murphy still lives in Denver with his wife and their dog.  He enjoys playing guitar, exploring the outdoors in Colorado, trying new food, and spending time with family.
