Dr. Liang's Bio

John W. Liang, MD, is a dual, board-certified vascular neurologist and neurocritical care intensivist with Current Neurology Solutions. He previously served as the Director of the Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit (NSICU) at Mount Sinai West and the Associate Director of TeleNeurocritical Care for the Mount Sinai Health System. His clinical interests are in intracranial hemorrhage, ischemic stroke, status epilepticus, and cardiac arrest with goals in establishing an academic-based high-tech teleconsulting system within the region that allows Mount Sinai experts to evaluate time-sensitive neuro-emergencies.
Dr. John Liang lives in New York and completed his residency in Neurology and a fellowship in Vascular Neurology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He subsequently completed a second fellowship in Neurocritical Care at the Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience at Thomas Jefferson University.
